In celebration of the hard work our 2020 Citadel Staff did this year, and having completed the yearbook during a pandemic… here is a little video they put together while in quarantine! The ILLUSION is that we’re all alone in this, but they’ve remained more connected than ever!
(It plays right side up.)
The Citadel staff is hard at work and production is underway!
This is an exciting course designed to develop skills in media publication. During the first semester of this course, students will learn how to develop a theme, conduct interviews, write stories and headlines, design yearbook pages using an online publishing program, and take and crop digital photographs using Photoshop and other software.
Following semesters will incorporate the development and mastery of these skills in addition to the development of leadership, editing, and business management experience.
Students must apply to the program during the spring of the previous year and are selected for this class on the basis of interest, maturity, and existing level of skill in writing and photography. Experience in Journalism, Photography, and Photojournalism is appreciated, but not a prerequisite.
